Miami University of Ohio was my last stop on my whirlwind tour. What a beautiful campus, full of stunning, red brick Georgian architecture! In addition to financial aid, merit scholarships are generous, maxing out at $34K per year off the $53K all-in out-of-state all-in price. Better yet, Miami U freezes tuition, room, board and fees for all incoming students for all 4 years. They're building a new nursing building which will be finished in 2022. While they're known for Division 1 hockey, students also come to Miami from all over the country for its synchronized skating club. I would sign up for that!
