Pace University has 2 campuses for undergraduates. One is in Westchester, north of New York City and the other is in lower Manhattan, right beside the Brooklyn Bridge. I had the pleasure of visiting the NYC campus when I was in town recently. There are about 5500 undergrads on this campus and the university provides housing for about 38% of them. Pace started out as a business school and today, business and the performing arts are the most popular majors. With Wall Street and Broadway around the corner, this makes a lot of sense. Also, Pace has a brand new entrepreneurship studio. The goal is to support new startups from conception through operation. If students are accepted, they gain startup resources, mentors, funding and more. Within the arts, Pace offers some really interesting majors such as Acting for Film, Television, Voice-overs and Commercials, Commercial Dance, Directing, Film and Screen Studies, Arts and Entertainment Management, Musical Theater, and Production and Design for Stage and Screen. Cool stuff! With an acceptance rate of 83%, Pace is a great option for many students!
